What should I wear?

We want you to be comfortable! General guidance might be something like.. “dressy beach casual.” (Can attire be both dressy and casual? We discussed this and think the answer is yes.) Colorful is fun! At any rate, it will not be “formal.”

For this time of year in Encinitas, it should be — fingers crossed! — fairly warm during the day, but will get chilly in the evening. (This is real! A sweater is recommended.) Most everything will be outside, but there will be shade and also open indoor space.

Wait is this some sort of “cool” wedding?

Maybe it is!! Expect the unexpected. (Actually, we will do our best to provide all the information you need.) But some aspects of the weekend will be untraditional, and in general we are just trying to celebrate with the people in our lives who mean the most to us. Vibe is relaxed!

What about my kids?

Due largely to the layout of our beachside space and the open fire, we are unable to accommodate free-roaming young children during most of Saturday’s events. But we would love to see if we can find a way to include you and welcome your family; please reach out!

What can I gift you?

omg stop it! ahah. Earnestly, your presence is your present. But.. if pressed… we are going to be doing a December honeymoon in Japan, and have discussed making something available for those who wish to support that trek. Stay tuned!
